Roberto Sartori: Mrs , how much is important for Gorizia being “theatre” of an event like the “ Assoluti di scherma”?

Roberta de Martin: it’s really important for Gorizia, because this city must set its sights on big events: Gorizia has all the possibilities to get itselfs noticed at national and international level. It has a lot of sources and it must use them to accept the challenges of our times.

How do you feel about these championships?

I feel really good, we are in the UGG’s gym, an historical association here in Gorizia, frequented by all generations, not only from Gorizia, for 150 years. See those fencing competitions is a wonderful sensation and the association is pleased to have contributed towards doing this event.

Based on the last matches, do you think that those Assoluti could be unforgettable?

The champions we saw on the platform showed the determination and the preparation that all the italian fencers have. We wish the best to all the athletes, good luck to everyone.
